Planning for their Future – establish a futures mindset for strategic planning. Includes a toolkit with specific strategies to use when generating a 10-year plan, thinking through implementation of new initiatives, or developing campus or district improvement plans.
Students as Futurists – empower educators to introduce and use futures thinking in the classroom. Developing student ability for innovative thinking spans across all content areas and grade levels.
Cultural Awareness – increase awareness of issues of diversity, cultural considerations in the classroom, and an understanding of implicit bias, micromessaging, and microaggression and how awareness can lead to more meaningful relationships in the classroom and more relevant teaching strategies for every student.
Gender Equity in STEM – empower educators with an understanding of how to reduce the gender gap in STEM pathways. Toolkits for recruitment and empowerment activities for female students are also available.
Understanding Poverty – examining poverty from sociological, cultural, and research perspectives to develop strategies for the best outcomes for our students of poverty.
